The central Czech Republic branch of Zivnostenska Banka (a leading Czech bank) is one such company, located on Na Prikope, where ITTP sends its trainees for observed and unobserved teaching practice experience.
The local Elementary School at Stare Mesto, faculty school of Prague's Charles University, is one school where our trainees have the opportunity of teaching Young and Very Young Learners. Here, our trainees are observed by leading English teachers in the field, such as Ms Mgr. Taking your ITTP Onsite international TEFL/TESOL certification course low season.
It doesn’t really matter when you take your international TEFL/TESOL certification because ITTP will assist you in finding a teaching position any time of the year.
The ITTP Onsite international TEFL/TESOL certification course is divided into high and low season mainly because these periods reflect the times when applicants are most ready and prepared to take a month out and travel to Prague to study, plus have the option of then staying on and teaching, and these 2 periods tend to reflect college semester patterns and increased seasonal demand for Onsite international TEFL/TESOL tuition.
ITTP provides an extensive job assistance program and to date ITTP has a 100% record of finding its grads, who wish to teach immediately and who are sufficiently active in their search, teaching positions within 4 weeks of finishing their course. This represents ITTP’s global reputation and extensive network of global educational contacts/partners: ITTP sends its grads all over the world.
This applies to both ITTP’s Native English and Non-Native English Onsite and Online TEFL/TESOL grads who take either the Prague Online/Onsite, Prague Onsite – Low Season, Prague Onsite – High Season, (or Online course options).
The main advantage of taking the course low season is that there will probably
be fewer trainees on the course (although we do just accept a maximum of
12 trainees per course date), and that there tend to be fewer tourists around
in Prague and some people prefer quieter streets – with the introduction
in recent years of low cost airlines though, Prague never really turns completely
sleepy in winter any more.
Plus, you get to save an additional $100!

Entry requirements
A whole range of people from many different cultural backgrounds graduate from the course. ITTP encourages and welcomes all applications - regardless of sex, age, race or nationality.
Conditions of entrance are set by international guidelines.
These are that applicants:
• should be Native English, or Non-Native advanced English speakers (i.e. English is your first language or Mother Tongue and/or if you speak English proficiently).
• applicants must be 18 or over.
ITTP has several official application steps which begin by filling in the application form. We will then arrange a mutually convenient time for a telephone interview (at our expense). We feel that this is a sufficient screening process and we don't require a grammar test (unless we feel it is absolutely necessary).
Primarily, the reason ITTP has a selection task is so we have a better idea of an applicants' language awareness and language skills. We are looking for the ways in which applicants use the language and in the forms in which they express and describe their ideas. There is also attention to basic sentence structure and correct grammar usage.
It is also an important opportunity for you to personally talk to a member of our team and ask any further questions which you might have for us.
An additional reason for a selection task is to avoid offering a place to (and accept payment from), someone who we feel does not have a good chance of passing their chosen Onsite TEFL/TESOL course.
When we ask students what they look for in a teacher, the most common answer is for a teacher who simply loves teaching. ITTP therefore encourages applications from anyone who has a passion for teaching whether they have university education/ taught before or not.
ITTP issues a pre-course recommended reading list. We don't expect you to read everything on the list, but a gained knowledge of English grammar before the course starts will help you considerably once the course is under way.
How can I pay?
Upon official acceptance of your application you will be sent notification confirming acceptance and confirmation of your place on the course. The $390 deposit must be made within 10 days of notification to secure a place. This non-refundable deposit will be subtracted from the total course fee. To take advantage of the ITTP discounted course price, deposit must be sent within 3 days of receiving official acceptance on to the course.
Full course payment (minus deposit balance), must be made at least 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the course.
Please note: alternatively, you may wish to pay your remaining balance once in Prague, personally at the ITTP head office - if you decide upon this option then your payment must be made in local currency and by the Saturday before the 1st week's course studies begin. We will of course provide you with a tax receipt for any payments made in person.
We look forward to being part of your teaching English experience!
